Dr. José Luis Marín presents his new book in Madrid: "Mental Health does not exist. Health does"

February 26th will be a very special date for Formación Psicoterapia and for our entire community.

On that day, Dr. José Luis Marín's new book, Mental Health does not exist. Health does, will arrive in bookstores. This work invites us to deeply rethink the concept of mental health and to broaden our clinical and human perspective on psychological suffering.

To celebrate this launch, we are organizing a very special event in Madrid that will bring together professionals, students, and readers interested in the integrative and reflective approach that characterizes Dr. Marín's work.

Official Presentation at the Palacio de la Prensa (Madrid)
The event will take place in one of the capital's most emblematic cultural spaces:

📌 Location: Palacio de la Prensa, Madrid
🗓 Date: February 26th
🕖 Time: 7:00 PM

It will be an evening designed for encounter, reflection, and dialogue.

What will the event consist of?
The presentation will be structured in three parts:

Brief introduction to Dr. José Luis Marín's career, contextualizing his professional journey and his contribution to the field of psychotherapy.

40-minute keynote speech, in which the author himself will develop the central ideas of the book and share his perspective on the current state of health and clinical practice.

Book signing, an intimate space where attendees can converse with Dr. Marín and get their dedicated copy.

The event is conceived as a collective celebration of an important milestone in the author's career and in the evolution of clinical thought that we promote at Formación Psicoterapia.

Tickets available
Tickets to attend the event in person are now available through Eventbrite. Places are limited.

A work that invites us to rethink clinical practice
Mental Health does not exist, health does proposes a critical and constructive reflection on the use of the term "mental health," advocating for a broader, more integrative vision focused on health as a dynamic process.

At a historical moment when the debate on psychological health occupies a central place in society, this book opens a space for deep thought aimed at both professionals and anyone interested in better understanding the complexity of human suffering.

At Formación Psicoterapia, we celebrate this launch with great enthusiasm and hope that this presentation will be a meeting point to continue dialoguing, learning, and building community.

We would love to share this evening with all of you.
