Mercedes Bermejo Boixareu is a health psychologist specialized in childhood, adolescence, and family, and currently a doctoral candidate in Emotional Systemic Psychotherapy for Children and Adolescents at UNED. She is a key figure in Spanish psychology, being the founder and director of Psychologists Pozuelo and ESEUPE, as well as directing the Sentir Publishing House and the magazine Psychology for All. She also presides over IMSIS (Madrid Institute of Systemic Child and Adolescent Therapy) and is a member of the Board of Directors of FAPyMPE. As an author of several books and an international speaker, she is noted for her teaching work and her active collaboration in the media.

Professional Journey and Contributions
Trained at the Complutense University of Madrid, as well as at Berkeley University (California), Université Françoise Rabelais (Tours), and Centro Crianza (Argentina), Mercedes Bermejo has an eclectic and constantly updated professional trajectory. She has completed several postgraduate studies, including a Master's in Systemic Family Therapy, a Master's in Humanistic Psychotherapy with Children and Adolescents, and Child Psychodiagnosis.
Her professional path mainly focuses on the care of children, adolescents, and their families. She currently directs Psychologists Pozuelo, a center for Psychology, Health, and Training in Pozuelo de Alarcón, made up of a team of more than 30 multidisciplinary professionals with different specialties.
The center maintains several Collaboration Agreements with the Complutense University of Madrid, the Spanish Association of Clinical Psychology, the Autonomous University of Madrid, the Pontifical University of Comillas, the Francisco de Vitoria University of Madrid, the European University of Madrid, UDIMA, and UNED, among others.
As an educator, she provides training in various public and private universities, as well as in postgraduate programs and other prestigious entities aimed at health professionals. She has been recognized by the Official College of Psychologists of Madrid as a "Disseminating Psychologist" for her invaluable collaboration in spreading Psychology through the media. Her team has received the "Gold Star" Award granted by the Institute for Professional Excellence in recognition of their professional work.
As an author and coordinator, she has published various works, including: The Dance of Family Emotions (Desclée Publishing), Manual of Emotional Systemic Psychotherapy (coordinator, Sentir Publishing), Advances in Emotional Systemic Psychotherapy – Children, Adolescents, and Adults (Sentir Publishing), and Plantánimals: the Children's Emocipedia (Sentir Publishing).
